The Makeover Is Funded by the Puzzle
Project Makeover is best understood as a loop between two activities. The matching stage supplies the resources for change; the makeover stage spends those resources on a client, their wardrobe or their room. The visual transformation is the reward for solving the next puzzle objective.
That makes it different from a direct dress-up game. You are not only choosing a new look from an unlimited wardrobe. You are deciding which visible improvement to make after completing the task in front of you. A good session alternates between clearing the board and deciding how the next part of the makeover should look.
The Core Gameplay Loop
Public browser descriptions and the official mobile listings agree on the broad structure:
- Enter a match-3 puzzle with a stated objective.
- Swap tiles to create matches and clear obstacles or targets.
- Finish the objective and receive the resources associated with the stage.
- Spend those resources on client styling, furniture or room changes.
- Continue the character or room transformation through the next task.
The exact browser build can differ from the mobile app, especially in the number of characters, levels, currencies and side features. This page uses the current Girl-Games.io iframe as the version boundary and does not treat app-only systems as guaranteed here.
Read the Puzzle Objective First
Before making a move, identify what the board is asking you to clear. A move that creates a large match but does not help the objective can be less useful than a smaller move that removes the required obstacle.
Use this quick check:
- What tile or object is the goal?
- Is there an obstacle blocking the useful area?
- Can one move create a special piece or chain?
- Which side of the board needs attention first?
The objective tells you how to spend your attention. Do not clear tiles simply because they are available. Clear them because they bring the board closer to completion.
Match-3 Choices That Preserve Options
The most useful early move is often the one that opens space rather than the one that looks largest. Clearing a blocked area can expose new matches and make later combinations possible.
When two moves are available, compare their consequences:
- Does the move advance the target?
- Does it open a trapped area?
- Does it create a special combination?
- Will it remove a useful color before you can combine it?
These questions are general puzzle strategy, not a claim about a particular board layout. The current level is always the final source for what is possible.
Obstacles Change the Priority
Public descriptions refer to challenging fashion-themed puzzles and obstacles. An obstacle changes the value of nearby matches. A match that would normally be ordinary may become important because it clears space beside the blocked area.
Start near the obstacle when the board allows it. If the obstacle is protected by another layer, remove the outer layer first instead of spending several moves on the open side of the board.
Do not chase a special piece far from the target if a direct match beside the obstacle is available. The most impressive move is not always the most efficient move.
Special Combinations and Board Control
Match-3 games commonly reward creating larger combinations or combining special pieces, but the exact pieces and effects depend on the current build. When the browser displays a special tile, inspect its visible behavior and use it according to the board objective.
The practical priority is:
- create a combination near the required target when possible;
- preserve a special piece until it can affect the blocked area;
- avoid making a chain that clears useful setup tiles too early;
- use the resulting open space to create the next move.
If a level feels stuck, look for a move that changes the board shape rather than repeating the same color match in a crowded corner.
The Transformation Stage
After a puzzle objective is complete, the game moves back to the makeover layer. Public descriptions identify hair, clothing, makeup and furniture among the choices. These changes are not just separate shopping categories; they represent different ways of improving the client's situation.
Begin with the largest visible problem. If the character's hair is the obvious focus, solve that before choosing a small accessory. If the room is empty or damaged, place the major furniture first and use decoration afterward.
The sequence creates a satisfying contrast: the puzzle is about short-term decisions, while the makeover is about seeing the larger before-and-after result.
Style the Client as One Character
When a client makeover appears, choose a direction before selecting every individual item. A polished outfit, new hairstyle and makeup should look like one decision rather than three unrelated upgrades.
Try this order:
- Set the main hairstyle or clothing silhouette.
- Choose makeup that supports the face and outfit.
- Add secondary clothing pieces.
- Finish with accessories only when they improve the result.
If the clothing is already bright, let the hair or makeup remain quieter. If the hair is the main transformation, choose clothing that gives it space. A makeover works when the client looks changed without losing a clear visual identity.
Decorate the Room from Large to Small
The room layer follows the same design logic. Start with the largest furniture or structural choice, then establish a color direction before adding small decoration.
Ask:
- What is the room used for?
- Which furniture creates the main layout?
- Which color should repeat across the space?
- Which decorative item adds character without crowding the room?
Place the large object first because it determines the remaining space. If you begin with small items, you may create a scattered room that later needs to be rearranged.
Spend Resources with a Visible Purpose
The browser and mobile descriptions connect puzzle completion with makeover tasks and resources. When a choice is available, prioritize the change that solves the most obvious unfinished part of the scene.
For a character, that may be the main haircut, outfit or room feature rather than a tiny accessory. For a room, it may be furniture that changes the layout. The best purchase is not always the most decorative one; it is the one that makes the next before-and-after comparison clearer.
Exact currencies, prices and unlock requirements can vary by version. Do not assume the mobile economy is identical to the current embedded browser game.
A Reliable First-Play Order
1. Read the puzzle target
Identify the objective and the obstacle that matters most.
2. Open the board
Use early moves to create access around the target rather than clearing randomly.
3. Make combinations near the goal
Use special pieces when they improve the required area.
4. Complete the stage
Check the objective before using a move that only creates visual space.
5. Fix the largest makeover issue
Choose the client or room improvement with the clearest impact.
6. Build the supporting details
Add clothing, makeup, furniture and accessories around the main direction.
7. Compare the complete result
Review the whole character or room before spending on another minor detail.
Common Mistakes
Matching without reading the target
An attractive chain can still waste moves if it does not advance the objective. Check the target before every important move.
Opening the wrong side of the board
If the required area is blocked, clearing open tiles far away may create no useful access. Work toward the target whenever the layout permits.
Spending the first makeover resource on a minor detail
Small decoration feels rewarding, but a major haircut, outfit or furniture choice can change the scene more clearly. Improve the largest visible problem first.
Designing the room before its layout
Small objects cannot compensate for badly placed major furniture. Establish the room's structure, then decorate.
Treating the app description as the browser interface
The mobile title contains features and progression that may not appear in this iframe. Use the embedded build itself when checking levels, currencies, saving or side activities.
If the Puzzle or Makeover Does Not Advance
First check whether the puzzle objective is actually complete. A board can look nearly clear while one required tile or obstacle remains. Read the target again and inspect the corners of the board.
If the makeover option does not respond, allow the previous transition to finish and select the current task shown by the browser. Do not repeatedly click unrelated items while the game is loading a new state.
If the room or client looks unchanged, check whether the selected action requires confirmation. The exact control is version-dependent, so follow the visible button or prompt rather than assuming a refresh fixes progress.
Replay Ideas
- Try a puzzle-first strategy that prioritizes obstacles immediately.
- Try a space-opening strategy that builds larger combinations before targeting the final area.
- In makeover stages, choose hair as the main transformation once and clothing as the main transformation another time.
- In rooms, use one repeated color and compare it with a deliberately contrasting design.
- Review which purchases created the clearest visual change and prioritize those in the next session.
These are strategy experiments, not confirmed extra missions or rewards.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Project Makeover?
It is a makeover game that combines match-3 puzzle objectives with character styling and room decoration.
What should I do first in a puzzle?
Read the target, identify the obstacle or required tile, and choose a move that opens or advances that area.
What can I change during a makeover?
Public descriptions identify hair, clothing, makeup and furniture. The current iframe determines which options are available in the browser session.
Is the room part of the makeover?
Yes. Public sources describe decorating a person's room as well as changing their appearance.
